A Whisky Appreciation Society that meets quarterly to discuss, taste and imbibe quality whiskies from around the world.
In our three WACWAC meetings todate we've tasted Welsh, Indian and Irish whiskies - so at our next WACWAC meeting on Friday 18th August, we'll be diving into the rich tastes and aromas of the home of the Single Malt - Scotland.
Many thanks to Alan for agreeing to host the meeting - and whilst you're salivating your expectation of the evening, check out the June and July whisky blogs in the WACWAC Blog in section above or the links below.
- The June blog looks at some of the differences between whisky and bourbon https://www.wacwac.co.uk/whisky-news/june-2017-scotch-v-bourbon/
- The July blog focuses on the distery at Loch Lomond - which produces one of the whiskies we'll be tasting in August... https://www.wacwac.co.uk/whisky-news/july-2017-loch-lomond-thir/
The next WACWAC meeting is at 8pm on Friday 18th August at Castle Aldwick, home of the Laird o' the Sharp.
